The Trail Notes

Introducing “The Trail Notes” – Newsletter

Yesterday I shared with you the thoughts that guided my last 10 years.

I wanted to find the best way to start and lead a family.

Now that I’m blessed with my lovely wife and our son – it feels real.

While I was looking back, I found that I’m always surrounding three major topics.

I call them my BFFs – because it’s Business, Faith, and Family.

I love all three and focus on them since they’re all eternal games – I can’t win or achieve them.

So all that’s left to do is to keep playing all three until the day I die.

This is where you come in.

You are a brother to me on this road.

The journey ahead is one where we will walk together.

You’re probably a man, married with kids, looking to become the leader and Present Provider your family needs.

We have many things to learn.

In this Newsletter, you will get the notes of my journey.

Since it’s an email, you are invited to see the email as an invitation to chat.

You can answer to my thoughts, lessons, tips, and trials.

I’d love for us to share the journey.

We will mostly discuss business and family.

There are so many stories ahead.

I’m excited for you to join me on the road ahead.

To really keep the Newsletter personal – I’m actually writing it in my newsletter journal with a fountain pen.

Here is a picture of proof:

So that you see it’s a personal letter from me to you, sharing the notes from my trail to become the best Present Provider for my family – and helping you become the best Present Provider for your family, too!

Let’s grow together, my brother!

Your Jowi

  • Don’t Be Scared of a Post to Fail

Social media gets pretty boring.I read the same posts over and over again. Why do most people post the same stuff? It feels like there is nobody sharing fresh ideas. There are waves of trends. As soon as somebody posts something good,it gets reposted, repurposed a hundred times. They all look alike.Sound alike. Are there no new ideas? I believe it’s for one reason: Because people are actually scared their post won’t get enough likes. They hold back their genuine self, fresh thoughts, and new…

  • The One-Dad Business

The One-Dad Business The only way I have found to make enough income to be the sole provider is with business. Yes, there are certain careers that would earn money, but they don’t give you agency. The next part is that they need to give you the opportunity to be present for your family. This is why the One-Dad Business is the best option for Dads to start a business. Many dabble with the idea to build a hobby business. Something they do for their hobby. There is a downside to it, though….

  • The Forestry Lesson That Changed How I Build

We are often in a rush.I’m definitely feeling it on many days. I think my progress is to slow.My plan is always tight for time.I plan too much for too little time. Then I need to look up, let in a sense of time. In forestry, there is a saying:“Wood grows on wood.”Older trees grow more wood per year than smaller trees — if both grow slow. The bigger, older tree will have added a multiple amount of wood compared to the smaller, younger tree because its diameter is so much bigger.Yet the small…

  • Impact over Income

Impact over Income I see it so often online – People are always looking to make money fast. The focus is to get rich. The longer I’m building my business – It’s been 7 years now – the more I enjoy the art of business. The Art of Business is to understand that Impact is bigger than Income. Income is important, but it is the side effect of Impact. Every business should make our world better. The blacksmith made better tools that the farmer could take on the fields. There was always more impact…

  • Don’t do it for the money.

Hey Reader, I know making money is important. You need to make money to run your business. Many people have said it before me: Don’t just do something for the money. Do it for helping the people.Do it for the bigger picture.Do it for the fun.Do it for the curiosity. But don’t do it for the money. Time and time again I observe men starting a business. They heard that Real Estate, eCommerce or Online Courses is where the money is made. Then they get started. Until they quit. I’ve seen it time and…
