Moving Faster by Slowing Down

I often have the urge to do more.
To find more things to do and try to speed things up.

Patience is important.
It’s not something that comes natural to me.
I want to have a thought become reality ASAP.

As a result, I have the tendency to lean into the hustle.
It’s an urge I need to fight actively.

Sometimes it’s faster to slow down.

Analyze. Observe. Think. Plan.

Then take a step forward that actually makes a difference.

The real power is to do only things that matter.
Ignore tasks that just run you crazy.

Focus on tasks that make a leap forward.

Build your life like you are a car.
When a check engine light pops up, you will go and have it checked.
You won’t keep driving full speed, pushing your car to the limit.

Or you will risk that it breaks down completely.

It comes to a full stop.

If you took a break to have it checked out, you could be back in no time.
Easily making up for the time lost.

In reality, it’s not that simple.
We don’t have a check engine light.
We don’t have parts that break so fast.

We can live for years not knowing what is actually the broken piece.

That’s where it’s helpful to have a coach.

Find a mentor who has done it before.
Then you can follow his steps.

He can also tell you some subtle worn spots that your business throws at you.

It will make a big impact when you’re ready to take your business to the next level.

You can tell fast which small accounts don’t work — because they tell you. With bigger accounts, it’s getting harder to see the difference. The funny thing is: A lot…

Hey Reader, It feels like there is a threat in the air. Now that ChatGPT is out for a few years already—and it’s constantly improving—it feels like we are in a competition we can’t win. How often do you hear:“I don’t know what to write about.”“I don’t know what to film.”“I don’t know what to paint.” How often have you used those excuses yourself when you came up to the creative task?
