Don’t Judge a Business by Its Social Media

It is so interesting.
A lot of people judge the business by their social following.
He got 100k followers—he must have a massive business!

Somehow we doubt that small accounts are bigger businesses.

I stopped looking at the following
and started to look for the actual interaction.

There is a lot to be said about the right likes.
You can tell fast which small accounts don’t work —
because they tell you.

With bigger accounts, it’s getting harder to see the difference.

The funny thing is:
A lot of bigger business accounts show business
but don’t actually do business.

They display their lifestyle & gear
yet they don’t actually do much business on the backend.

They do it more for the fame and fancy pictures.

Most real experts are so specialized,
they don’t even get into mass interest.

They might have a big percentage of workers from that industry as followers —
yet the number is comparatively small.

On the other end, we have guys like Alex Hormozi and Dave Ramsey.

These are easy-to-do businesses.
They don’t show you much of their lifestyle.
They have a clean cut on their videos.

That means they don’t need to spend that much time with editing
and can focus on putting their work to good leverage.

They are set up to do it for longer.

Many of the lifestyle accounts will burn out.
I have seen plenty come and go over the last 8 years.

Their large following rarely built a sustainable business on the back.

Hey Reader, How often have you heard:“But he did it first!” Many kids justify their actions as reactions. They say, look at the other person… they are so much worse than I am. We see this today with adults, too—when they put blame on others as an excuse for their bad behavior. It makes me sad to see it in the news every day: “I’m not to blame.” “He was already doing it.” “I’m not as bad as he is.” These are all statements of giving back what you’ve received—with the point of escape or…

Praise the Lord.” For a long time, I didn’t understand how he could say something like that. When I started to work on the Present Provider Concept, I started thinking about the foundation. Why am I trying…
