30 before 30

Now that I’m 29 years old – I’m wondering what do I want to do with my next year?

What do I want to do before I turn 30?

As I have been working on my business to become the Present Provider for my family – I have noticed a trend.

Most people set an income goal.

So have I in the last years.

Now that I have a few years on my back – I realize it is better to focus on Impact.

Impact over Income.

It is not how much I can get out – it is how much I can give.

My goal is to reach 30K followers before I turn 30.

Now you might say – that’s also superficial.

That’s fine, but there are layers to this goal.

30K followers is tied to awareness.

I also believe people only follow once they have received something.

It makes me focused on giving – since the more I give – the more you will get.

30K followers is an Outcome goal – that is hard for me to control.

There are two more goals that I set with that:

Input & Output

  • The Input goal is counting my actions.
  • The Output goal is counting my published content.

So 1 long-form video would be the Input.

The Output would be:

  • 1 YouTube Video
  • 1 Facebook Video
  • 1 LinkedIn Video

So 3 total.

In return, I get views, followers, and newsletter subs.

As you can see – Input → Output → Outcome.

30 before 30 will be the Behind the Scenes Challenge to test all my years of content creation and help me focus on helping you more.

I’m curious to see how it goes!

Provide with Presence, my brother!

  • Strive for Effectiveness, not Efficiency

Hey Reader, One thing I’ve seen over the last few years in the productivity field is the hunt for efficiency. It is the idea that when you get things done faster—you will automatically get more done. Let’s take a trip down memory lane: The idea of efficiency stems from the industrial revolution. In factories, it mattered to get more done faster. Thus, the overall productivity rose. The machine could produce more products in less time. When I first got introduced to productivity, I fell in…

  • Better Offer

Better Offer The most important thing to improve is: Your offer. This is the foundation of your business. There is no way around that. If you don’t have an offer or you have a bad offer – nobody will buy. Nobody will talk with you. It’s like you’re trying to sell old fish. It smells so bad that nobody is willing to get close to you. No matter how much Marketing you do, word about your bad fish will spread. No matter how much you have optimized in your business or even automated. If your offer…

  • Business is Boring!

Hey Reader, In so many videos I’ve watched over the years, there is often the idea that business is so exciting. There is always something new happening. There is always change. You’re in a high-speed car chase. While I definitely get that—especially when you’re starting out—you always want to be overwhelmed. The reality is that business is boring. There is not much happening once you find a routine that works. The main goal is to stick to that routine as long as you can. I do like to be by…

  • What if You Actually Tried?

I wasn’t a great student in school.I did what had to be done. This was the minimum to be average. Yet when I really wanted something,I could go above and beyond to get it.I just went for it and figured it out. Sadly, in our school system,we get taught that the cool kids are not trying hard.Cool kids are lazy and care less. It flows into our culture today, where you get made fun of for trying hard. This makes me sad, because there are so many things we can do.There are so many opportunities. It…

  • Goal or Journey? Both!

Hey Reader, When I was in university, there was a big debate: Whether life was about the goal to achieve or enjoying living the journey. As a success-driven person, I always stated that the goal and the outcome matter most. Now that I hunted success for many years, I’ve noticed another pattern. If you don’t enjoy the process to get the success—success is falling short. You need to have goals because they serve as landmarks to give your journey a direction. That is something I have seen in…

  • The One-Dad Business

The One-Dad Business The only way I have found to make enough income to be the sole provider is with business. Yes, there are certain careers that would earn money, but they don’t give you agency. The next part is that they need to give you the opportunity to be present for your family. This is why the One-Dad Business is the best option for Dads to start a business. Many dabble with the idea to build a hobby business. Something they do for their hobby. There is a downside to it, though….
